Through the Dongbang Special Education School, the Seodaemun Community Center and the Eastern Children’s House, the Eastern Social Welfare Society provides a variety of child care and educational services to children of every age and circumstance. In addition, for children and teenagers in circumstances where it is difficult to continue their education, depending on their will and ability, we provide opportunities for them to pursue their education and dreams.

Special Education
The Eastern Special Education School helps develop physically handicapped students to their full potential and improves their social adaptability skills, along with their independence. We educate elementary, middle school and high school students so that they can fully overcome their disability and become a member of society. The Eastern Special Education School has been awarded a lot of times as best special education school in Kyungki Education District. We are proud of passion and professionalism of our teaching staff.
Cultural Education Program
The Seodaemun Community Center provides a variety of cultural experiences and educational activities for elementary and middle school students through it’s program which works towards enriching the child’s culture and life. Also, we provide a warm and homelike environment for elementary students to experience positive moments in life with his or her own age group.
Eastern Nursery Center
Eastern Nursery Center by Eastern Social Welfare Society, which is located within the Seodaemun Community Center building, has served Seodaemun residents since 1992. It is well-known as one of the best nursery centers. By guiding the parents’ economic and social activities, improving the child’s family environment and ensuring that children have a bright and healthy life, we are fulfilling our goal of creating a healthy and happy society. Configured to suit the development of the child, we create an environment with professional educators and a childcare program to ensure that the babies are safe and grow up to be healthy and happy.
