With social adjustment as our main priority, we hire single mothers and physically handicapped senior citizens to work for both nonprofit and profit businesses through the a variety of customer service vocations. We provide job opportunities while raising the quality of work and producing goods made by single mothers and senior citizens with physical handicaps.
Cafe Eastern
In 2011, Eastern Social Welfare Society started cafeteria project in order to improve socio-economic status of single mother families. Now, we are running 5 cafe nationwide. At the cafeterias, account, management, service, and cooking educations are provided. We succeeded to hire 42 single mothers in 2015 by this cafeteria
Nail Eastern
Eastern Social Welfare Society’s Nail Eastern is an establishment that provides nail art education for single mothers who have the dream of becoming a nail artist. By providing this education, we enable single mothers to economically and financially support themselves and their children. Through our connection with professional firms, we help unwed mothers build their own skills and ability as nail artists. We also educate unwed mothers on the skills needed for the perfume industry and operate a personal perfume establishment so that these mothers can use their learned skills and become financially independent.
Eastern Bakery,
Eastern Paper and Onsaemiro
The Eastern Social Welfare Society operates multiple business wherein we give a helping hand to our neighbours and also help them on the road to becoming financially independent. Eastern Bakery hires 12 intellectually-disabled workers. All baked goods are handcrafted by the workers and sold in local market. Eastern Paper produces office papers. All process control is handled by 18 intellectually-disabled workers and our supportive staff. Onsaemiro was founded in order to provide skill training and job opportunities for single mothers. Soap and perfume handcrafted by single mothers are its main sale items.
