With the Philippines as our starting point, the Eastern Social Welfare Society provides for children not only in South Korea, but also for children abroad. In particular, we help children of mixed Korean descent living abroad who receive discrimination due to their background of birth go against the stigma and prejudice their face and ensure they keep their social, educational, economic and cultural rights. We help these children continuously by providing for the necessary aspects of their life and improving they quality of life.

We started the first Eastern Children Center at Angeles in 2013 and later at Baguio in 2014, for children who cannot receive the protection and education they deserve due to the constraints of their environment. Our primary concern is to build up stable ground for their education opportunities. So that every single child can be a part of our daily after-school activities, we provide vehicles to transport children. In these centers, we conduct a variety of programs to improve the child’s special talents and their aptitude. Also, through individual case management, we provide the special help needed for each individual child. By our professional .
